Narrative

Rachael is an IT professional who is a single mom, living with her daughter. She stays close by office for easy commute but unfortunately outside the city. It was a pleasant saturday morning 5.30 am. Looks like the sun was very happy to start with his daily routine, birds chirping was euphonious. Rachael woke up bit early today, she walked towards the window and thought ‘Why couldn’t I enjoy such a pleasant morning, that too on a weekend!!!’. She visited her dad’s place by 6pm and started chitchatting with her dad on random topic! About her parent, her mom is a housewife and dad is almost becoming a patient as he has prolonging knee pain on both legs for years. She had a younger brother who was married to a pretty girl, he was blessed with 2 kids. Between dad and daughter's conversation, her brother pitched in and said ‘I am taking mom to hospital as she has pain on her chest.’ Rachael's dad asked ‘Ok, do you want me to come or would you be able to manage?’ Ra...

Rex  : Hello, Is this Annai orphanage? I m Rex, am calling from polichalur. We saw an elderly woman who is staying in the stop for the past 2 days. Orphanage : I understand, no worries we shall send someone to the spot in sometime at the earliest. Rex went to the elderly person, gave her some water & was trying to interact with her but there was no response!!! Rex : Aunty, do you remember where are you from? Are you from North India !!! (No response.. a pause) Please have this biscuits and water... Reality is!!!! The elderly woman name is Mary, from a family which was once upon a time a rich one! But now life has played it's worst role and made her kicked out of her family by her own son!!! Mary didn't talk anything to anyone as she didn't want to blame her son. Think about retirement plans rather than depending on others, in an early stage of the life. Not all are lucky!!!!
